Hiring Sous Chef

We are looking for a motivated and committed Sous Chef who together with our skilled Executive chef will manage our kitchen in the season of 2018. You will be responsible for the employees in the kitchen team when the Executive chef is off-duty and make sure to motivate and inspire other employees. Together we will create a wonderful dining experiences for our guests. Our hotel is located in the mountains several hours from the nearest town, so you must like the mountain life.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily production, culinary operation and follow-up of the kitchen
  • Motivate and inspire employees
  • Cost control
  • Stocktaking
  • HACCP and IK-mat

Desired education / experience:

  • A degree or certificate in culinary arts preferred
  • Experience as Executive Chef/Sous Chef is an advantage

  • Will create wonderful dining experiences for our guests
  • Have a genuine interest in developing the restaurant

  • Is concerned with quality in every aspect and has an eye for detail
  • Have the ability to motivate other employees
  • Have good working ethic
  • Is innovative
  • Speaks one of the Scandinavian languages or fluent English.
